I liker her too..........:dribble:

I figure a child produced by Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively would almost be too beautiful for human eyes to gaze upon and would probably be named either Adonis or Aphrodite.....;;D
They have two cute little girls :) She's beautiful and he's handsome...until he smiles big. Then he's goony. I like the goony better than the smouldering gaze--lol.

Good Sunday evening. (Evening?! Oh, yeah. We lost an hour.)

Uncle John

In this tale of small town intrigue, an urbanite returns to his quiet hometown on an impromptu trip as his Uncle, widely respected in town, struggles to evade suspicion of a murder.

I enjoyed this movie very much. John Ashton (Beverly Hills Cop) is wonderful. I strongly recommend this movie.

Available on Hulu right now.

No prob ma'am. Deadpool is one of the very few recent movies that has made it to my all time top 10 list. I know what it is, maybe it just appeals to my wise-ass nature, but I don't think the movie dialogue could have been written any better and it was cast perfectly...

This is the scene where I really started to think this movie was going to just about be perfect...lol

Watched Lucy

A woman, accidentally caught in a dark deal, turns the tables on her captors and transforms into a merciless warrior evolved beyond human logic.

Yeah...no. It got silly, IMO. But I do like Scarlett Johansson.

And The Boy

An American nanny is shocked that her new English family's boy is actually a life-sized doll. After she violates a list of strict rules, disturbing events make her believe that the doll is really alive.

It stars Lauren Cohan, Maggie from The Walking Dead. It's not a great movie but it's fun (if predictable).

Watch it here

Filth

A corrupt, junkie cop with Borderline Personality Disorder attempts to manipulate his way through a promotion in order to win back his wife and daughter while also fighting his own borderline-fueled inner demons.

OMG! This movie is excellent, IMO. I strongly recommend it.

(Watched it on Hoopla. Hoopla is free. Yay!)

If you liked McAvoy in that one, give Trance and Welcome To The Punch a try :)

I remember The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (grade six)

In grade 7 or 8 our teacher read Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne

I have a list of all of ours (First through Sixth Grade--before First I don't remember and after Sixth we weren't lucky enough to have complete books read to us except one short one in eleventh grade)...EXCEPT ONE! Forty years ago (only four years after sixth grade) I began keeping a list of every book I read, including every book read to me if in entirety.* (I was absent the day our teacher read the ending of Where the Red Fern Grows and so missed the huge sobfest. On returning to school I asked the librarian for the book so I could read the part I missed including the end and she said, "Oh, please, I can't stand the tears," but I got it and read it anyway.) When I remembered a plot but not title or author I listed all I remembered of the plot. Over years of relentlessly poring over libraries, thrift stores, used bookstores, lists and collections of book reviews, collectors' guidebooks, picking the brains of librarians and bookstore owners, and finally the internet, I identified every book--as well as adding quite a number I remembered on coming across them--and listed every title and author

BUT ONE!

Finding reading sites with stumpers forums was one of my first actions after going online in 1999, and I found some wonderful forums, some of which I still visit every day. When a book was mentioned repeatedly, either as a stumper or as an old favorite, I made it a priority to pick up a copy and some I have actually read and was very glad to learn about. In all these years I have never seen a single request for this unidentified tale nor met anyone who either had the least idea what it was, or was able to find any means of identifying it--and some of these stumper-solvers are real detectives! I did call my sixth grade teacher in 1977 and she did not remember everything she read us in 1973 and 1974. She passed away in 1986 and unless someone wants to hold a seance--and don't think I haven't considered it--we aren't going to find out from her. Our class has a Facebook page and over a year ago I posted this there, receiving many nice comments from classmates but no answers. The good thing is now, with these stumper sites, this book has been declared the most obscure in literary history and a few people are almost as obsessed as I am with identifying it!

* I purposely have not shared my list of Stephen King titles so people here wouldn't yell at me because it's been so long since I read any of his. Now you know.
