Saw Odd Thomas on Netflix last night. What a great little movie, and a wonderful performance by the late Anton Yelchin. Didn't even realise it was a Dean Koontz book until the credits.

I loved the book!Saw Odd Thomas on Netflix last night. What a great little movie, and a wonderful performance by the late Anton Yelchin. Didn't even realise it was a Dean Koontz book until the credits.
Passengers - with the guy from that Guardians Of The Galaxy movie (franchise soon) and Jennifer Lawrence. It kept my attention but was run-of-the-mill stuff. Great FX!
Prisoners- good movie about two young girls abducted and the aftermath. Wolverine guy and Jake from Brokeback Mountain (his name is way too hard to type), Viola Davis. Sheer perfection in the acting.
I watched one hour of Beasts of the Southern Wild but the Jose Cuervo gave me a headache and I gave up on it. I'm drinking water now and plan on reading a little then getting to bed before eleven. Anyone watched it?
Dan, I loved Prisoners. Saw it at the movies. Made my stomach churn it was so realistic. That feeling of not knowing who abducted your child and not even knowing if they were alive...awful.
I really loved this movie too.
I can attest to that since I saw it in a theater...having to pee but not wanting to miss anything. I'd have cut 20 minutes, not quite an hour. The audience is supposed to be left in the dark, wondering about the fate of the children. The crawling minutes are just a taste of what parents of missing kids actually face. Did you like the ending?Hola! I just finished watching Prisoners. It was okay~~~~~
I really like Hugh Jackman and I love Jake Gyllenhaal but at two hours and thirty-three minutes (one hundred and fifty three minutes!!!!!!) it was too long by at least an hour.

Yes, I liked that it ended.
Don't have a clue about the movie y'all are discussing and couldn't tell you the last movie I watched, but this post made me...Yes, I liked that it ended.
Yes, Doc, that's how it ended. A lot of Peaks Freaks were very upset and angry with Lunch for that ending. The reboot on HBO picks up exactly 25 years after the cliffhanger. 'How's Annie? How's Annie?' So I guess we'll get to find out what happened to Dale Cooper. Now you'll have to watch Fire Walk With Me- it does answer a few lingering questions but also leaves you with even more. It's not a happy-feel-good type of movie either. The reboot is supposed to be following the mood of FWWM, which is very, very dark. Watching the last seven days of Laura Palmer's life broke my heart. I'm glad that you stuck with it after the killer is revealed. They lost their footing for about 6 episodes after that. What did you think of the final reveal? Pretty darn violent for television back then, eh?Just watched the last episode of Twin Peaks. Wow. I feel like my brain is swishing around in my skull. Ever climb out of a space bounce?
kingricefan That's how it ends?!
Bob is a thing of nightmares. That is how I picture Flagg in The Stand.

My favourite Star Wars movie about face make-up!Also recently saw Rouge One, very good star wars movie
You were given all of the clues in Cooper's dream early on, that's what made it all too cool. And they were spot on. Lynch and company have said that they really had no idea who it was going to be until they were forced by ABC to reveal who it was. They filmed the 'reveal' scene with another actor because even up til then they hadn't decided (Sheryl Lee was sure bruised up by the end of that day of filming!) and went with the one that they chose. There were massive clues in the book The Secret Diary Of Laura Palmer, which is not a happy book.I had no idea. I thought it could've been Leo but after it was revealed that Bob could enter into people all bets were off. There were soe shocking violent moments, too. You were right!
