I just saw Sahara with Humphrey Bogart in the lead (1943). A classic i havent seen before. Worth seeing. They know how to make movies and were to end them then. And, of course, Bogie is a great actor. Lloyd Bridges in a supporting role.

Hell, I just caught Bogie at his dark and brooding best in Nick Ray's killer In a Lonely Place (again), with yummy Gloria Graham. Part of TCM's Noir Alley, hosted by Eddie Muller. Great way to start yer Sunday morning, bub. Kinda odd fare for 10 am, though.

Just saw It in theater, great remake!

Saw it with friends, one of them was lucky enough to read the book some years ago.
He thought it was a good movie also.

Two other friend, who didn't read the book, didn't think the story was that good.
They had their best memories about the original movie, 27 years ago, when they were 12...

Cry? I don't get it, Nottie. I mean, they finally get the ring off Ringo's finger, he doesn't get sacrificed, and the lads play some gear tunes.

Oh...wait. The Help. Okay, now I gotcha. Nope, never seen 'er.

It's got Sissy Spacek -too, too much funny in in it, and Bryce Howard (calm down, she is nasty in this film) and just about everyone who is a fine actor. You will cry, too. betcha a dime.

Oh how I love movies about the 19th century. This one is about John Keats's love affair with Fanny Brawne. Lyrical, moving, heart-breaking. Abbie Cornish's portrayal of Brawne is lovely. Highly recommend.

I watched 'The Help' again.

I cry every time. I don't cry for movies. This one gets me. Every single person in the movie - perfect.

Like them or not.

When the maid left with her daughter. Looking into the front door.. Oh my

When I first saw your post I thought you meant this movie.

:) I'm scratching my head going, "Every single person in the movie perfect like them or not? John, George, Paul & Ringo? Does somebody not like Ringo?" Forgive me, it's early.
