I don't know if you saw the Academy Awards, but they had all the Elsas (? is it Elsa?, I haven't seen it) from many of the countries that it has been released in sing one of the songs together, but each of their parts was in their language. I really enjoyed that.
I did not see that! How fun. I don't get abc network here so always miss the Oscars. Have to make do with news highlights the day after.

Wow. Thank you for posting that. Whole bunch of powerful voices!

So all these other women have their voices dubbed in for their country's version of the movie? I never even gave such a thing a thought. I guess I just assumed the movies were subtitled for other countries. How interesting!!
Yes. They sang the Elsa songs in their country's movie version. It is Elsa, right?

12 Monkeys (1995)
Appropriate subject matter today: a virus has wiped out 99% of the population, and a prisoner is sent back in time from the year 2035 to collect a pure sample to help future scientists find a cure so they can return to the surface of the earth.

Full of twists, turns, and mind-boggling time travel paradoxes, this is an interesting movie that demands rewatching and discussions afterwards. And you've never seen Brad Pitt like this before (or Bruce Willis, for that matter). Directed by the late great Terry Gilliam.
A much underrated movie. Fantastic cast and a pleasure to watch at all time. Messes with the head some.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 1 & 2 and Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. A co-worker lent them to me after I said how much I liked the two newest Spiderman movies. I enjoyed all four movies. I'm not a big fan of the movies that have been made from comic books but these were decently done. Never watched any of the Iron Man movies as I'm not a fan of Robert Downey Jr. but I still got choked up at the end.

We also watched Frozen 2 over the weekend. I had the opposite reaction to the songs though. The only one I truly enjoyed was Kristoff's power ballad. :D

I think Idina Menzel has a very powerful voice but for me, she walks a fine line between being beautiful to listen to, to borderline annoying. Maybe my opinion of the newer songs will change in time.

Loved the story though! And Olaf, of course. ;)
Frozen 2 was one of the most boring movies I have ever watched imo, I literally fell asleep in the theater, I didn't even do that while watching the Lion King remake, despite me wanting to. I agree the power ballad was the only original part of the movie. I think Disney has made a lot of great original films in the past decade, so it's a shame they settle for sequels that fail to live up to the original, especially Incredibles 2, it wasn't awful, per se, just incredibly generic compared to the amazing original film.

I have yet to see Infinity War or Endgame, weird since I my dad took me to see literally every other mcc universe film leading up to it

Rosemary's Baby (1968)- Such a damn good horror film. It has the right amount of suspense from start to finish and it has a pretty original take on the now overdone evil kids subgenre of horror. The acting and the soundtrack are also excellent. I love how it managed to stay creepy without too much shock value in a way that felt satisfying. Outstanding movie, 9/10

Rosemary's Baby is a classic! Could very well be the perfect horror film.
