Let's see if this fixes the picture problem.
The first kid n cat painting.
I had this background painted FOREVER but couldn't think of what to put on it.
I finally decided to put Kid n cat in a twisty tree.
Kid n cat in Paris. The sunset was jacked up so I replaced it with a blue sky.
The skies over Paris have dried, so I can draw in the Eiffel Tower, the balcony kid n cat are on, and the shadows from the tower, the trees that aren't there yet, and the shadows from the wrought iron railing kid's leaning against and cat is sitting on.
Next, I had a whimsical idea of kid losing her balloon so cat is handing her a new one.
I was happy with it, but it wasn't well received. Ah, well. They can't all be masterpieces. So I decided to forge onward.
Before revisiting Paris, I had this idea, so I wanted to get started on it.
Kid n cat versus a dragon. rar.
I mucked up the wings at first, but I think I've got 'em fixed. That's the beauty of working with oils. There's time to fix mistakes.
The baby-poop yellow-brown the dragon's standing on is going to be treasure. Gold coins, gems, etc. And the dragon isn't going to be purple. That's the highlight color on what will be his scales. I started with the lightest colors and will fill in the darker ones.
Saving the kid n cat for last so that I won't drag my arm through the paint and mess 'em up. Funny that I write with my left but paint with my right.
That's as far as I've gotten.
The companion piece to the dragon painting is going to be kid n cat walking away, laden with jewels and treasure, dropping gold coins, looking very pleased with themselves.
I think that's all of 'em. I hope this fixes it so everybody can see 'em.
