No, i have the same stance like The Big Lebowski on The Eagles.

Yeah, I hate Take It To The Limit. Doesn't everyone? It's just that I have a 12 yr old daughter, and parts of your post made you sound like a father's nightmare of the self involved mouth-breather your girl might drag home one day. Surely I am incorrect here? You are crazy in love, right? Re-read what you said. The problem here, you have a ten minute window, and then what you say stands. Whew, I've posted some dumb stuff! Your soul sometimes is a vast desert? No, it really isn't. I can prove it if you've got time. :) Are you 19? Then maybe it is. Even Steven King's soul isn't a vast desert! There, I said it. I have a terrible vision of you staring into the abyss, while your wife, after working 9 hrs at Taco Bell, hand washes your skinny jeans.

Nah, I'm 44 and single, no kids. My last relationship ended 2 years ago. I don't blame any of the women I was with: I just make poor choices when it comes to who I get involved in, so that's all on me. But I'm at that stage where I won't ask someone out just out of fear of being lonely. That's the worst start ever. I'm good, I'm comfortable, and if anything happens in the relationship department, it happens.

Btw, is Kate Winslet divorced yet? (asking for a friend)

With everything. ;)
Have a nice weekend.

Hey, I guess I can add to this thread now as a "single" person. I can see myself liking it, eventually, with the passage of more time and the healing of my broken heart. I like being in control of the placement of things around the house, to be honest. I'm usually messy by default, but at least now it's only my mess. I don't want to see video game controllers strewn around or giant tangles of wires connected to computers and gaming systems ever again. At least I have a long list of things I know I'm in willing to tolerate if ever I meet someone again. I am holding out hope that I'll find someone great someday, though. I can't help it. I am a hopeless romantic at heart.
