I just found out I'm related to him.Lon Chaney passed away on the 26th August, 1930.
My 7th great-grandfather (Jeremiah Chaney) and Lon Chaney Jr.'s 5th great-grandfather (Ezekiel Chaney) were brothers. My great-grandfather, Eddie Chaney, was my closest link.
I'll try to copy and paste the family tree.
