Hi all! I've been a Stephen King fan since I was about 12 or 13. Admittedly, I was probably a little young for many of King's books, but that didn't stop me. After reading IT, I was in love. I continued to read several books throughout high school, with my favorites being The Dark Tower Series - I just love such immersive worlds. Sadly, since then I haven't read much King, or anything at all. The most recent King work I read was The Wing Through the Keyhole and I just started reading Carrie, which I've never picked up before - believe it or not.
I've also delved into collecting and my recent ventures in this are what led me here, so I finally decided to join the forums!

...Dear Abby.......HA!....see what I done did there???....my spot as Village Idiot is still safe...:biggrin2:

DEAR ABBY: A couple of women moved in across the hall from me. These two women go everywhere together. One is a middle-aged gym teacher and the other is a social worker in her mid-twenties. Never seen a man go into their apartment or come out. Do you think they could be Lebanese? — Curious.

Welcome abbyhdsn! Depending on what you are collecting, you can usually find a lot of his books in yard sales, salvation army's, used book stores, etc. Usually they are quite cheap and in good condition. All the best, mal.

Thanks! I actually started collecting as a teen by picking up The Dark Tower books at yard sales and have always had a lot of luck at the other places you suggested. I frequent thrift shops and used book sales. I've actually had a surprising amount of luck on eBay recently!

Hilariously "Deer Abby, " is a joke among my friends. I'm in my twenties so we use apps like snapchat all the time and there was a filter that made you look like a deer. Needless to say, it was frequently used and they'd be proud. lol :p
