Welcome, DianaRose!

Sounds as if you are off to a great start with all these suggestions and your recent SK purchases. My favorite SK book is Gerald's Game, so look for that one as well!

Thanks, danie!
I'm a little hesitant when it comes to Gerald's Game. It certainly sounds interesting, but the "kinky sex" aspect of it is what gives me pause. Not too sure about it for now! Thanks for the suggestion and the kind welcome! :)

Cujo is not gory. He only wanted to be a good boy.

Heartbreaking.

I loved that dog. You read/hear poor Cujo's thoughts and his confusion. He was sick and could not understand what was happening to him.

Ugh see that's worse than gory! Poor thing...That would break my heart too. Anything where the animal is suffering is like impossible for me to deal with. That's another reason why I love The Stand
because yay for Kojak! And also it was so horrible in Salem's Lot when the dog, Doc was killed.

Welcome to SKMB, DianaRose :)

Thank you, thank you! :)

Oh gosh, and I just remembered one more thing I have to add that kills me with the whole animal suffering thing...Lloyd's rabbit in The Stand. Awful!
Anyway, just thought of that now and had to bring it up. Don't know if I can handle Cujo!

...no need for the "bondage' aspect to deter you from reading it....that "game" is only the accelerant at the onset of the story.....the rest of the book is dealing with the aftermath....truly nothing that would trip a prudish trigger.....

That part is not explicit by any means - it is only a small segment at the beginning. The main part of the book concerns her struggle to get free and what goes on in her mind.

I agree or as they say "What he said!" :cool-new::):adoration::cheerful:

Yes - only the intro to the book and more a case of what she did not want him to do to her, thus the end result...

Hey there - how y'all doin? (Scott & Tracy)

I was off the board for a few days - working a weekend always messes up my schedule.
