Just thought I'd give an update. I've made it about half way through the colorado kid and I'm bored out of my mind with it. I'm trying to decide if I should give it another chance and finish it or just move on.

And I tried again. While sitting in the ER with my son for hours. And I found people watching much more interesting.

I get it. I feel the same way about the 2nd half of The Stand. Once the book turns away from the Superflu and towards the mythological struggle I lose interest and mentally check out. What can ya do?

Well I have to agree, This is by far one of my least fav SK stories. I read it in two sittings on a flight to and from LA. Its a short one in comparison to his other works, I would just finish it and put it under your belt and move on. You know check that one off the list.
