Took me a couple of days to process. Not only was he wonderful in a part that could have easily been a cipher, but he lent his voice to many characters. Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beats and Gov. Ratcliffe from Pocahontas are but two that stand out for me.

But my favorite memory of him will always be the final episode of M*A*S*H. Charles has taught a group of Korean (prisoners) musicians to play Mozart. That final scene tears me up, never fails. Now more than ever.

I had forgotten that scene. Thank you for posting that, Tery.

Charles/David wasn't the centerpiece to this scene, but I really enjoyed his subtlety and nuance in what was one of the more moving scenes of the whole series for me.
