Hey there.

My name is Semyon and i would like to tell you about my first novel—Maginary. This is an immersive book, that demolishes the fourth wall between you and your imagination. But it's not a usual book. It's interactive and can be read only on iPhones or iPads.

There is a reason why I wanted to share this here, on Stephen King's forum.

I always wanted to write a story, and about three years ago I first read Mr. King's "On writing". And just on one of the first paragraphs there was a thought which got stuck into my head. It was a passage about telepathy lesson, when the writer describes something and the reader on the other end receives the image. Probably this was the trigger that made me create my first novel, but in my own way.

Just like most books, Maginary is based on the original story. At first glance, it is a regular adventure, with its plot twists and characters. But, unlike in other books, one of the main characters in Maginary is you, the reader. Throughout the whole story you help the other character, Michael. He was also reading this book before you, but never finished it. As a punishment, the book cast him into a different reality. Maginary broadcasts everything that is currently happening to Michael in the other world into your imagination, and your task is to help him make it back to our reality.

To my surprise It also turned out that many people find the world familiar with the one in Dark Tower, although I haven't read those.

So I thought, may be some fans of Mr. King with iPhones would be interested in reading this novel. I also couldn't find any other way how to contact Mr. King to thank him for making me believe in myself and creating this new format of novels. So I thought the best way would be to post a message here.

I took me 2 years to create it, I put my heart and soul in this book and would appreciate to know your impressions and thoughts, everyone. Here's a trailer of Maginary:

Thank you.

P.s. I hope I don't violate any forum policies by posting it here. If I do, please excuse me.

Hello Semyon, and welcome! I don't read much contemporary work other than the work of sai King, but a lot of others do. I hope your story travels. I read about some Netflix show where you control the direction of the story as well. It all sounds cool. Good Luck!
Hello! Thank you!

I miss Michael

Wow. Does this mean you had a chance to read it? If you did, would be glad to know your feedback.
