Wow - that is awful - I used to listen to their cassette tape (wow) back in the 90s while I was out jogging in all types of weather

This was sad for me because their song, Joy Ride, is the song I wait to hear every summer. I'm sure radio stations play it all the time, but it seems I never hear it -- until summer. And it always seems to play when the sun is hot, maybe still a little nip in the air. But I will turn on my heater and rolled down my car window and blast the song and smile.

RIP

I just felt more connected to Roxette than Abba. My parents listened to Abba but I found them too serious. Roxette were more fun than Abba. There wasn't a single Roxette song that I didn't like. My friend Nicole and I used to listen to the song they did for Pretty Woman. Nicole had her hair cut like Marie and she was also blonde. Marie wasn't just a singer. She also played guitar and keyboards. She was way more talented than either of the women in Abba.

Very sad. She got the brain cancer news in 2002 and that made a break in Roxettes career. Several operations and treatment laterthey made a comeback in, i think 2006. They made their last tour in 2016 and then the doctors said she had to stop. She loved performing for a crowd, she got energy from it. After the operations her voice wasnt quite as good as before and sideeffects from the operations made her lose sight in one eye and her legs wasn't tiptop so she sat in a high chair on stage the last years. She had a truly great pop voice. The last three years she draw back and spent almost all time with her family. RIP Marie!!

The Swedes seem to have a talent when it comes to music.
