Sometimes I get tired of hating his villains so much. :) I actually put Under the Dome down a couple of times because some of the characters were so utterly without sympathy.

Oh, I meant "off topic", of course, excuse me. It's not a spoiler, but something not directly connected to the current topic. I think I've mixed it up with how it sounds in my native language :a11: but I'm working on it :)
Okay - sorry - I am not up to date on some abbreviations - I usually have to look them up! :cheerful::smile2::laugh:

I got really angry when Stephen King
included himself in the Dark Tower series

Why? Unless you and others who've objected to it think he was being egotistical by doing so. If that's your reason I would attempt to explain what I think his motives were if I had more technical literary vocabulary. I loved that he did it. For me it added a dimension to an otherwise normally-dimensioned story.
I think other authors have included themselves in the story they're writing, though I don't know of an example. It reminds me of movies which are movies of themselves.
I enjoy that kind of convoluted expression.
