Yep. Sitting in the rocking chair with red eyes.My lasting memory was when Clint Eastwood's brother from Any Which Way But Loose turned. If I think of the sound of someone's voice being pure evil, I always go back to that scene. "Teacher ..."
Ben's utter terror through much of it - possibly David Soul's best acting ever . . .
Here Come the Brides
Holy cow! Spin me back down the years.... I had such a crush on Bobby Sherman!
But I swore I'd live in Seattle because of that show. And I do (well, in the area)
You know what's funny about that?
Mostly what I remember about that show is that song about the bluest skies you've ever seen.
I had completely forgotten that David Soul had even been on that show, but I was flipping channels one day and there he was.
And Bobby Sherman . . . King of Tiger Beat.
Were we ever really that young?
I read the book and honestly had no idea that they made a movie. Cheesy or not I'll still watch it.If I saw it, I forgot it just as fast. Looks pretty cheesy
Saw it when it first aired way back when........ Will never get the sound of the Glick kid's fingernails scratching at Mark's window. It was unlike anything shown before on television. Truly a watershed moment in TV history.
That scene near the end, in the cellar, when you see Barlow's mindless undead minions creeping up behind them as they're opening the coffin...brrrr...
Good stuff, classic creepy. And James Mason, a class act as always.
Anybody seen that obscure Return to Salems Lot flick? Never saw it myself, but heard it was a direct-to-video cheapie that had little to do with the original mini-series.
