Very cool! :) I even learned something. I didn't know we could delete drafts. Sometimes I'll type a comment and then decide to leave it alone - before I press Post Reply but after the comment was auto-saved, so I end up erasing my words and replacing them with other words that usually have nothing to do with the thread subject lol.

Thanks to all y'all who created the user guide :)

I did not know this either!

Deleting a Draft
There is an autosave feature but if you decide not to post a message, first highlight and delete the text in the text box and then click on the Drafts icon
draft-button.png
, and then select Delete Draft. This will permanently delete your draft.

I was just wondering if anybody has any problems lately on SKMB as my name is continually faint( even though I've been told it looks alright to others), also it took me five goes to login, and another time the characters that came up on the screen looked like some heiroglyphics.

No problem here. Your avatar looks good, and your name is bold print and dark. Maybe a message to Jordan? Give him as much information as possible- computer/ browers etc. Even a screen shot. Maybe he can wave his magic wand.

I have said they should get Father Merrin to cast the demons back into the abyss. It has not really been a problem as I already exorcised. As long it doesn't worry anybody I'm alright with it. Do you see that was the only problem then life is not too bad. Doesn't stop anyone from having a bit of fun.

Am I the only one who thinks these message boards should be condensed? There are way too many folders and subforums. It take too long to scroll through them. Does there really need to be a subforum for every single book? I'm not trying to be snarky here. I'm not trying to run the board. Just being practical.

Unfortunately we lost the ability to keep the forums collapsed when we had a board upgrade.
(you can collapse them by clicking on the - (minus) icon located on the right-hand side at the top of each forum, but they re-set to expanded each time you leave the home page)

The sub-forums are needed to break the separate areas up, as Stephen's work is vast and also the message board caters to threads outside of his work.

If you use your Alerts (top right, next to inbox) navigating the threads is a lot easier.
Using the New Posts button, (top centre of page) means you can navigate recent posts without having to scroll the whole front page of the MB.

Each book is an entity unto itself, thus individual forums. How confusing it might become discussing several books within one thread.
Just my observation.
