Is meth doing any good to human brain ? Like opening a gate to absolute knowledge ? Spiritual enlightment ?
Are you pulling my leg? i.e. joking? I believe it is ruining a lot of peoples' minds from my understanding.

I am no expert but if it does this to your outward appearance, what is it doing to one's mind? yikes!

(Welcome to SKMB by the way )

Have a drug counselor friend for the state of MA who says no drug she's encountered is more destructive or harder to kick than meth. I've personally seen it ruin the lives of more than one person, so my answer is no. No enlightenment; lots of pain and chaos, though.

I was asking about meth on "Under the Dome" novel thread because meth is mentioned in the book as a kind of "apple of knowledge" , opening eyes to wonderful realms.
SK did drugs for whatever reasons (after publishing Carrie and having to cope with the fear of being an one-book author) , but I am not sure if he used meth.
Philip K Dick used meth to stay awake and write lots of short sci-fi stories during a period when he needed money from his writing.
PKD might have suffered the consequences later on in life and his life might have been shortened due to his drugs usage in his 20s and 30s.

...it's only "wonderful" till your soul is hooked...then you get to see hell, and the Ferryman is the meth-cooker....

Mr Vulture, what happens if I push the HELL NO red button you posted ? Will all hell break loose ? Or will I get a shot of meth ?
Cristian, The answer 'Hell No' was in response to your original question "Is meth doing any good to human brain?"
It seems an applicable response to the other questions as well.
Any further questions? Please see Post numbered thirteen. This is my view as well. Meth is a vampire that drains its victims of life while whispering sweet nothings through your veins.

Weak minds need meth. How does one make his/her mind stronger ?

Meth sure keeps my oldest son busy. He's a DCI Agent for the State of Iowa. The're a LOT of meth labs in Iowa. Because of the stink the cooking process makes, it helps to be in a rural location. I gotta think you knew the reaction you'd get by posing that question. Right? Like using a hornets nest as a Pinata?

What about Idaho ? Lots of meth labs there, too ? That place is dynamite ! :) Are Iowans bored to death and have to use meth to cheer up ?
