....we used a fingerprint scanner on the narc cart at the hospital when I worked there, hella easier than swiping an ID everytime.....I do understand everyone's concerns over the idea of being a walking/talking monitored drone, but it just doesn't freak me out.....
That's because you're big enough to beat the crap out of anyone monitoring you! ;;D

I think the program is on a voluntary basis. In this day and age of "now" to some employees it may appear a convenience. They no longer need to be concerned about a password, ID badge etc. However,, long term, just how much of their personal privacy is being given up for such a convenience. What are long term aspects of said microchip- rejection, movement, other medical issues. Personally, not something I would want.
It's the long term aspects that would concern me. Too much spying and prying as it is.

I’m pro-chip. After being accepted in the workplace our government overlords will get in on the deal. Think of the benefits. We could vote more easily, have instant access to health care information, and tax us based on our travel habits. The opportunities for the government to get total control over our lives is amazing. And we all love big government, right? That’s what we’ve been striving for in our move towards socialism. We know there’s absolutely no chance that our government officials would use the technology for nefarious matters. And hey, I don't want to be shamed as a science denier. Those people are crazy. Finally, as a backup just in case the chip would fail I think we should all get a small barcode tattoos on the sides of our necks. Yeah baby... chip me!

That's fascism when you brand people. Your overlord knows the concept well.
