The beginning was so familiar that I had thought I read this before, but the rest of the story seemed new to me,weird,?

Like that he added the kindle story ,UR, it was the first story I read on my first kindle!

...nah, he writes life so well-that certain situations have the smell of familiarity, because we have "lived" them in other stories.....it had a certain IT nuance to me, as far as the "gang" was concerned....

Ive read the Bazzar of Bad Dreams version and I believe it has extra characters in it than the e-book version....I havent read the e-book version....can anyone confirm this?

If you listen to audio books, his publisher always adds a bonus story--Mile 81 was a bonus story but loved the rewrite, Morality was a bonus story too and that one blew me away. So was Dune and Ur. I just appreciate the fact that he has rewritten these stories and owned it. Give me permission to do the same.

Read UR. On page 221 says " and play their first game - against the Bulldogs of Truman State, Indiana-". Truman State University is in Missouri and their mascot is Bulldogs. Does Indiana have the same?
