I'm also very happy with Skarsgard. I loved him in True Blood and I also loved the Tarzan film he was in. I haven't really seen him in a truly dark role though - as Eric Northman I always found him more funny than dark.

I recently watched the last season of True Blood. I have all of it on blu-ray, but I never finished the last season. And it's not very good at all, one of those seasons that goes in all sorts of directions and lacks cohesion. It really seemed time to stop.

I saw sai King on 'The View' yesterday. Excited about the Stand remake but even moreso when he mentioned he wrote some new material showing us what happened to Gary Sinise and Molly Ringwald (Stu and Fran?) characters afterwards.

Yeh that was a good one. I enjoyed his interaction with Megan McCain. It was nice to see... I think woopie has a crush on his, or something

Skarsgard appeared in this one a few years ago which I thought was pretty good and dark, worth a look if you've not seen it,

That's interesting. I haven't even heard of that one. It also has Emily Alyn Lind, who I think is gonna be Andrea Steiner in Doctor Sleep (at least you can see her at a cinema in the trailer, so I think it's gonna be her). There is always a SK connection it seems.

I always saw Eric Northman kind of like Spike in Buffy. He's supposed to be this really bad-ass vampire, but there's often something about the situations he gets in that makes him kind of funny at the same time.

McConaughey was a great Flagg, keep him and get rid of Skarsgard, after the IT films I've had enough of that family, jk. But in all seriousness though, Skarsgard's sons are no where near as good as their Dad, just in terms of acting I mean!
