OK so I'm a dude so...

Brian Piccolo in the original Brian's Song with James Caan and Billy Dee Williams.

"When you hit your knees tonight" speech will eat at anyone with a heartbeat.

Yup, that was a tough one. I had forgotten it. And it wasn't the death for me so much, if I remember correctly, than Billy Dee Williams in the locker room afterwards.

Not a movie, but every time we watch "The Offspring" episode of ST:TNG, we sniffle up over Lal.

Grandpa I think the speech is given when Billy Dee is accepting the Halas Most Courageous Player award...

I was 8 years old when movie first came out and we all watched it on our brand new color TV...

Watched it every year when it would come on back then...

Every year same sad ending.

Jack in Titanic.

Sam in Ghost.

Lion King and Bambi, obviously. In the same vein, I once saw a documentary about wildlife, and a little baby elephant got lost. He took a wrong turn, and couldn't find his family anymore. The narrator simply said it he wouldn't survive this. I know you're not supposed to interfere with nature, but how can those jackasses just film this and do nothing to help!? I cried my eyes out, and I stopped watching nature films since I witnessed this. I just can't take it.

Judith in Joan Of Arcadia.

Brandon in Punky Brewster. He woke up eventually, but that scene just rips your heart out.

Tonks and Lupin in Harry Potter.

Also, it's not a movie or series, but the couple in the song Anachie Gordon. First she dies because she can't be with the one she loves, and then he dies when he finds out she just died. It's a folk song, and Sinéad O'Connor's version just breaks your heart. That song always gets to me.

OK I'm back to this one but just for a couple of things:

One I don't believe anyone has mentioned Bubba from Forrest Gump...that's all I have to say about that...

Two (and this one drives me nuts) several have mentioned the DiCaprio character from that sinking ship mini series that called itself a movie...

Yes his final exit into the murky depths was well acted but...

Did y'all see the size of that chunk of wood the girl was hoarding all to herself?

It's about the size of an aircraft carrier and she can't slide her 98 pound self over and let Leo float around with her?

Sorry to all who loved the movie...
