As well as being an avid King fan, I have another hobby. I make dollhouse miniatures. I've worked in lots of different materials including leather - I make 1:12 scale shoes and handbags. Years ago I made lots of little books.... The bookcase in the photo contains a complete collection of King books (well it was a complete collection when I took the photo lol ) The bookcase is just over 3 inches wide.
These days as well as truly making things by hand I 3D print a lot of minis. You can see some of my things at my Facebook page called MinisByTwinmum

Nice picture - I would think that was a full size bookcase if I had not read what you wrote in your post - could you post another pic with someone's hand or other normal sized object in the shot? I think that would be even more impressive!

YAY! Another craft person! :) The books are great! I especially like your mini shoes and mini carnival glass bowls.

Moderator Do you have room in your new craft room for a 3-D printer? :)
I'm sure I could find room, at least at the moment. Give me a year or two and that may be a different story! Fortunately, I haven't come up with any ideas for using one--and don't give me any! ;-D What I'm thinking about more is a cutting machine to cut fabric as the arthritis in my hands is becoming more of a problem. It would save a lot of wear and tear on them when I'm making quilts.

A cutting machine would be an investment. There will be days your arthritis will kick in and you'll be able to work instead of waiting for a good day.

Getting a cutting machine for quilt cut-outs is a great idea :)

I'll be thinking about ideas for using a 3-D printer for you :)
