I read Rage today, mostly in one sitting. The story really sucked me in and kept the pages turning. That being said, I'm still not quite sure what to make of it. I know it's something King wrote at an early age, and it shows. It's very raw and in-your face, but I can't say I was a huge fan of it.
To me, Rage felt like a dark, violent version of The Breakfast Club. High school kids letting the skeletons out of their respective closets. I also feel King's views on violence are so true, they could have been written yesterday.
Overall, I wasn't a big fan of Rage. Oh well, I knew I wouldn't love them all.
