Is Linda Hunt really leaving NCIS? For me she has been the heart of this show and I will be saddened if she does leave.

I think Miguel adds a nice touch of DC is watching.
She's the only reason I watch it. When I watch it. There isn't another character on that show that engages me. They're all 2 dimensional.
I wanted to see if I was giving NCIS LA a fair shot, so I binge-watched the first season and thoroughly enjoyed it. Then, part of the way into the second season, that irritating IT chick with the flip 'do showed up. I can. Not. Stand. Her. I know they were going for the so-irritating-it's-cute quality, but that doesn't fly with me. Whenever she's on the screen, I mute it. I had to turn the show off before that episode was finished.
I don't know if I'm going to make it through the second season with such an irritating character, especially knowing that she's still on the show all these seasons later.
Somebody please tell me she gets easier to tolerate over time. Please?
