I think by the looks of the trailer is going to be Perfect , the cast, the whole setting and the vintage look the film has

Both Wil and Sheriff Jones looked like they came out directly from an old movie. They were really well done.

For me Henry ended up looking too old, though. They had a good base on him, but letting his beard show aged him too badly. Yes, I know some 14-15 years olds have beards, but I think it would be a nice touch to emphasize his youth (he is just a kid, after all) by making sure no beard is seen at all. I would even suggest armpit hair removal or trimming (again, I know at 14 some or many boys already have body hair, but not all, and not so much). He did a good job with his acting, going from shy to bold, but I saw an 18 year old guy, not a young kid. The same goes for Shannon.

But I did like the movie. And I felt bad for the poor cow in the well.

Probably the most faithful SK adaptation EVER. Not the best SK movie; there are quite a few better than 1922, but it's really good. I had only read it once when Full Dark came out, so it was basically new to me. Then I reread it yesterday and was really struck by how faithful it was.

A movie can never put you in a character's mind like a good writer can, but everything else was spot-on.

Damn Netflix!
They put out a film you can't get on DVD,and this one is worthy of just that!
I watched it,not knowing what to think or what it was about, and that fitted well with the surprises that followed..

What is it with SK and animals?
They just don't fair too well do they?

Overall,great filming,acting and makeup effects

Well, the rats made out pretty well in the book, it was just the poor cows that suffered....

Has Netflix never released any of their series on DVDs? I have not seen any, but one could hope.

I got Hulu's 11.22.63 on Blu-Ray, but I think that series was only a "premiere on Hulu, then released to other networks" rather than a "Hulu Original (and Exclusive)".

Even though I am happy with Netflix's content, I would be happy to own series like Iron Fist and all the other Marvel Defenders series (yes, even the second season of Jessica Jones, which was my first Marvel/Netflix disappointment).

Just watched this the other day. Powerful! What originally got my interested in reading King was the movie and show adaptations. I love them so much, but holy cow is the writing even deeper and more intense than I possibly could have imagined. I know this is quite the "well yeah, duh!" statement, but King's work taps into human emotion in such a powerful way. It's incredible! Now I need to read me some 1922!
