We were up that way for the signing and stayed in Bethel at the Rostay Inn.......that was pretty interesting! They only had VHS players but guess what? They had Misery and Hearts in Atlantis! Lol...it was perfect!

That does sound perfect! Funny how things work out...

I'm not surprised you had to stay in Bethel. There aren't a lot of hotels in Bridgton, Naples, Casco, Fryeburg, or Lovell.

I'm curious: Did you find out about the signing here? I read about it in the paper the day before I bought my ticket. Otherwise, we would have been out of luck. I sure am glad I read the local news!

We purposely did not announce it on any of Steve's social media sites as they were trying to keep it local. Once they put it on their Facebook page, the word got out beyond the local area.

As a fan and a local, I was really happy it was handled that way! I imagine pandemonium would have ensued over at Bridgton Books had it been more widely announced than it was. It was pretty crazy in there when I went to buy my tickets, but I have to say the staff handled it beautifully.

It was a great event! I'm grateful to have been a part of it!

That's really interesting. I follow Bridgton Books on FB, but hadn't been on FB in a long time...

The HORROR, indeed!

How about some Patron Silver? The slice of lemon and salt shaker are what I call "training wheels" ;)

Well I definitely don't need training wheels. But I do like it with lemon and salt. One of my son in laws is a Master Bartender in Toronto (Canada); just thought you
might like to know that little tidbit. :):) Patron Silver is good stuff. I remember staying in KOA Cabins in Pennsylvania several summers with 3 other couples. A lot
of that stuff around the campfire. Not that long ago either; last trip was 2012. Much cheaper liquor prices in the U.S. and I LOVE duty free.

You're right about the liquor prices. We almost went broke during our trip to PEI last summer. Luckily, we managed to smuggle a bit of booze across the border, otherwise, we would've gone home penniless :/
