Hello All,
I posted a few months back with an introduction, i just had a couple questions that I'm having a little bit of trouble researching.
I'm looking for an agent to represent me for publishing, im a little worried about finding a "True" literary agent. I've done some research and found a lot of warning against people posing as literary agents, but not a lot on how to find one to represent my work. The internet is filled with lists of people and photos. Suggestions to find a literary agent to best represent me? I'm currently working on a sci-fi thriller.
Thanks,
J. Fox

Probably better answered by those here who are published writers and have had the firsthand experience of what and what not to expect from an agent as I don't have any advice beyond getting a copy of the Guide to Literary Agents.

Here's a very good resource, from the SFWA: HOW TO FIND A (REAL!) LITERARY AGENT - SFWA
