Nick & Dr. Soames original vs Uncut

In the original version, I notice that Nick distinctly comes across the dead body of Dr. Soames on his way out of town. I missed this scene in the Uncut version. Help?

....ummmm, the "original" IS the Uncut version:biggrin2:....brain hurt yet?......anyway, I think it's in there but can't readily recall a page number....

I hope this isn't the Mandela Effect, LOL. I read the uncut version in September and I could have sworn I read where Nick finds Dr. Soames behind the wheel of his car. Maybe I just thought I read it but was really remembering it from the 1978 version. Freaky.
The question now is, wouldn't that make the so called uncut version 'cut'? :rolleyes-new:

The scene made it into the miniseries as well, I think. Just so happened my last reading through both versions it showed up in the 1978 printing but not my hardcover uncut.
