1) Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil ( Berendt, John).....One of my top 5 favorite books of all time, probably reads like a novel because a good deal of it was fiction, I believe he admitted as much if I'm not mistaken.

2) The Devil in the White City (Larson, Erik).....this is an awesome book, goes into to not only the notorious serial killer Dr. Henry H. Holmes (who I believe was Jack the Ripper, he was in London at the time of the killings and a skilled surgeon) but also the trials and tribulations of preparing the World's Fair for Chicago by famed architect Daniel Hudson Burnham.

3) Incendiary : the psychiatrist, the mad bomber, and the invention of criminal profiling (Cannell, Michael T.)
This book is a real life thriller, must read!!

4) And So It Goes: Kurt Vonnegut, A Life (Charles J. Shields)
He was a bit of an ***hole but I love him anyway, one of my favorite authors.

5) No One Here Gets Out Alive - (Jerry Hopkins, Daniel Sugerman)....The story of Jim Morrison and the Doors, the only book that I ever read in one sitting. Couldn't put it down....hey I love the Doors, break on through to the other side and read this one!

I didn't add "In Cold Blood" as everyone has already read this book at least 3 times by now and seen the movie at least dozen times....right, same goes for "Helter Skelter".
Please direct my attention to some other great non-fiction books, thank you!!
