AAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHH!! This waiting until Christmas might kill me.
Read it when you're alone. Say you're going to the library or something and then you just sit there and read. I know... You promised but it was a cruel promise to force out of you and you can always read it again by Christmas. Its a looooong time. Is it tempting? I only know that i wouldn't be strong enough to keep such a promise. I have a rather strong will but i have limitations and waiting for months for a SK-book is one of them. If you make, sane and in one piece, you have my admiration.

I don't know who chose the provocative title for the e reader "nook", but it sure makes it difficult to have dignified discussion about a persons nook material.

Their is just no dignity in saying "book on my nook"

I don't imagine we will ever hear the phrase "I'm going to crack open my nook and relax......."

Got mine tonight! Perfect end to a long day- got home from work at 1am, back to work at 545am, left at 1000am, drove 3.5hrs to Wichita, stood outside in the freezing cold from 230pm to 5pm, and finally got to see Stephen King in person at 620ish pm. Neither of my books are signed, and will have to wait a bit (already in the middle of two other books...). I'm thinking maybe Thanksgiving will be the perfect day to sit and read!

I bought it at 10 this morning and finished it about an hour ago. Couldn't put it down. I'd love to write a blog post about it, but I feel like I need a shower and Tylenol after that ending.

You know it's gonna be a good one when you start getting chills on the dedication page (or maybe that was just me).

I got excited when I read Fritz Leiber's name on the dedication page. I thought, Oh good! That kind of dark! I used to love the dark stories told within the city of Lankhmar :) Course it turned out to be a different kind of dark related to different authors on the dedication page lol, but I like their kind of dark too :)
