I think Simpson murdered two innocent people, remember watching a good part of the trial...seems like much of it happened over my winter, so I had time...although toward the end I either didn't have the time or I'd become disillusioned with the whole fiasco, the play-by-play analysis. But...if it doesn't fit, you got to acquit! Ole Johnny, that chook on his head. I missed that part, live, or as it was televised. And like above, the guilty flee though no one pursues...and another proverb I like, a man tormented by the guilt of murder will be a fugitive till death; let no one support him. I thought there was a proverb that said, more or less, that a murderer will carry his guilt always. He knows he's guilty. The other two people who know he is guilty are dead. When Christ comes back again we'll know the truth. (I just read a pretty good story, Inherit the Dead, and Marcia Clark is one of 20 writers who collaborated on that story...check it out you get a chance. I've not read anything about Simpson, the trial or the aftermath.

I think the prosecutors can share some of that blame.

The police work was incredibly sloppy too which didn't help the prosecution. One place where the police really blew it was with OJ's initial interview. He chose not to be represented by a lawyer and the police could have asked him anything and all they did was lob a few softballs at him. On one of the recent retrospective shows, they played the initial interview and had Marcia Clark's reaction to it (which I think had to be bleeped out ;-D). One example of this bad interview was the question about the cut on OJ's hand. The detective asked how he got the cut and OJ said he cut it on a glass. The detective said ok and never asked any kind of follow up. The entire interview was like that.

Because they were the ones who told him to put it on. Anyone dumb enough to dig themselves into that hole won't stand a chance of climbing out. I happened to be watching that day, and my first thought was "eeewwww gross" quickly followed by "it will have shrunk".

I took a high school law class and one thing I remember is a good lawyer never asks a question he doesn't already know the answer to. Fishing expeditions don't usually end well in a court room.
Ur exactly right. The couldn't ask those questions on shrinkage ect bc they asked him to put on the gloves. 8f the defense would have asked then the prosecution could cross examination and ask those questions. They misplaced the game. As they did a lot in that trial.

Innocent? come on now.

OJ's blood at the murder scene.
OJ's blood plus Ron and Nicole's blood in his Bronco
OJ's blood plus Ron and Nicole's blood at his house
The missing glove from the murder scene at his house
A Knife wound on OJ's finger
A long history of domestic violence and stalking
Think he is guilty too but the defense put holes in all that blood evidence. The video of no bloody socks next to his bed, then an hour later when the police photographer came thru their there. Edt in the blood at the scene. Lead investigator bringing oj's blood back to scene of the crime. Furman proven racist finding not one glove but both. The back gate had no drops of blood then 2 weeks later mysterious blood shows up. So even if u believe he did it if ur on the jury u have to go innocent because of resonable doubt.

I think the cops were sure he did it but just to make there case even better did some extra stuff which ended up shooting themselves in the foot

The world seemingly has enough problems without revisiting OJ. That was a rare situation where everyone emerged worse off. He is in jail. The folks he killed are dead. Let it fade into history.

95 million people watched that bronco chase. 1st reality TV show that spawned the craze. Lapd, racism, African American hero slain 2. By racial marriage. The famous lawyers, trial of the century ect ect. This will never fade. At every anniversary they will do something and if o.j. gets out next year watch out. He is definitely going to make some noise. It's sad though bc the only reason it's still around is bc of the publics appetite for it. As long as demand and money to be made the wheel will keep on turning.
