Official Trailer #2

So a couple of days ago they released trailer #2 (I guess they're not counting the MTV trailer). I was watching a video on YouTube of the trailer being broke down, and in the video it was pointed out that there is a shot of Bill in the doorway holding a Lego turtle. They said this is because Maturin will not appear in the movie. Now I have two different stories one is Maturin will appear in the film and this had been confirm by the director. Now, am hearing that Maturin will not appear in the film because the director was not a fan of the concept? I was really looking forward to see Maturin. Another thing is that when we see the shot of the gang of bullies Patrick Hockstetter is among them. In the novel, Patrick, is not really part of the main gang of bullies. We really don't learn about Patrick 'till Beverly is in the junkyard. We learn that Patrick is probably a little bit more disturbed then Henry. That was probably two of the most disturbed parts of the novel:

#1 when Patrick is killing animals by locking them in refrigerator and killed his baby brother #2 when Henry killed Mike's dog.

Sorry I probably went on a little long. Any thoughts on the new trailer?

....this is all the usual hub-bub over a soon to be released film....everybody's playing it cagey and there is the expected crap ton of misinformation floating about....won't really know until we see the entire film-and even then questions will linger....BTW, Welcome to the Board.....

Andy confirmed that Maturin will be in only as a easter egg or homage. Being the Lego turtle. He won't be there in physical form. And some things have changed such as Patrick being in the Bowers gang. Hope that cleared some stuff up
