Thanks for this Charms. I've never had any trouble separating an artist's work from his/her walk in this life. I think Miley Cyrus has a beautiful voice and is very talented. So is Justin Bieber. I think people get it in their heads that, because an artist doesn't act exactly how they think he/she should act, they have to dislike every song/painting/movie/book, etc...that person creates. My middle-schoolers have this attitude. They say things like, "Brittney Spears is ugly," and I tell them, if she walked into this school or in your church, you'd think she was the most beautiful girl you'd ever seen. If I judged everyone by their actions, and didn't listen to their songs (etc.), then I'd never hear Elvis Presley's voice or cry over a Van Gogh painting. Most people don't give artists like Miley and Justin a chance. They both are really very talented.

I thought your horse was a unicorn at first :a11::dunno:

- I tried the Unicorn Frappuccino at Starbucks last Friday night - not bad, but a whopping 410 calories for a Grande!

I just looked it up and it also has 59 grams of sugar!

Wow - guess I won't be ordering that again :icon_eek::chargrined:

On a positive note (since we are in the Positive thoughts or pictures thread) I am positive that having one of these isn't going to kill me  - good thing my new job helped me to burn up most of those calories for the rest of the night :casanova:
Why are you always worried about how many calories you are consuming and always worried about going to the gym?

I don't know - I guess because when I was younger I was in really great shape plus after 21 years in the Regular Force and 4 years in Reserves I got used to going to the gym every day (at least during the week).

Now I am getting up in years plus I had a very sedentary job for 11 years up until recently.

I just believe that if you eat well and sweat a little bit every day that it's good for your health :hmm:

I'm not a body builder or anything like that :flex:

I don't smoke and I hardly ever drink - wow - it sounds like I have no fun at all! :m_crazy:

I hope it's okay to leave a video here. Trouper, the blind raccoon, has an uplifting story for those who want to learn more. His caretaker, Mrs. Dot, lives in my old hometown. (Sanibel/Cape Coral/Ft. Myers)
Trouper - I know you posted something earlier but honestly I did not hear the whole story - thanks!

We had a mother raccoon with five babies on our deck Monday very early in the morning, which was surprising - usually they only come out at night

(I just looked up the video about his rescue - good for that lady who gave him another chance)

You're welcome. I'd never heard a story about a domesticated raccoon quite like this. It's sad but uplifting because of what he's overcome and the great care he gets. Mrs. Dot takes him to churches, schools and nursing homes and she gives a talk while he clings to her hand.
Wow, you had six raccoons on your deck? I've only seen one in the day time, usually they come out late at night.

I took a video and several pictures - they came quite close;

Now after Googling Raccoons in Winnipeg I am reconsidering feeding them after all:

Raccoons | Winnipeg Humane Society

My neighbor stuck his head over the fence and said they were up on his roof and the mother hissed at him as he was trying to enter his front door after going for a Tim Hortons coffee!

This morning Andy discovered one had been digging in our clay pots (flowers like geraniums, marigolds etc.) Not sure why they would do this, unless they were looking for bugs or worms :hmm:
