Does anyone have any recommendations of books that are like 11/22/63 or ones they recommend in general? I've heard "The Time Machine" by H.G. Wells was good, but am not too familiar with it or books like it.

Yes! There is an excellent book about time travel by Diana Gabaldon:Does anyone have any recommendations of books that are like 11/22/63 or ones they recommend in general? I've heard "The Time Machine" by H.G. Wells was good, but am not too familiar with it or books like it.
I don't see where she said women only write romance novels. Or read them exclusively, although I'm sure statistics would say more women read romance. She said a man recommended it to her. That's all."Although written by a woman it is not your standard romance novel"
Maybe I misunderstood you, but women write more than 'romance novels'. Time travel or not.

That came out wrong - my mistake - I am not sexist or anything - as a matter of fact I am female too (however when I read stuff like those books put out by [dang what IS her name ] oh yes Danielle Steel for example, Diana Gabaldon is in a different category altogether."Although written by a woman it is not your standard romance novel"
