I've had Joyland for some time, but didn't get around to reading it until after I finished Doctor Sleep. So I'm reading them out of order. Bad Constant Reader!
I'm still in the early pages, but as usual, I'm astounded by the ease of Sai King's writing. The guy just floors me.
I'll probably have a lot more to say as I progress into the book.

...Heathens....yer all heathens I say!!!!...grab the pitchforks and torches, we're burnin' down the windmill!...:congratulatory:
Not much hope for me then, I started in the late "noughties" with a 1986 novel, moved onto a 1990 book, then a late 70's, 2011 etc. Just finished the DT series, and I am trying to decide whether to read an '80, '06 or this '13 book. I am sure to burn.

I whipped through that book. Loved it, loved it, loved it! Oh, and did I say I loved it?

Me neither - haven't even thought about reading in order.... just read which one I want to, or have at the time!
