I'm down with that! Bring bail money. You hear that, Dio? Next year. I'll hitch my way up your way and we'll head to Bangor and make SKMB history. It'll be...diabolical.
Any other rowdy friends here we can bring along?

Too early to say. He has material ready for publication but what/when that happens hasn't been finalized. How many books will he be putting out next year?
Out of Order. He is too smart for his own good. A criminal mastermind in the making. Ha.I'm down with that! Bring bail money.

This could be epic. Bangor will never be the same.Out of Order. He is too smart for his own good. A criminal mastermind in the making. Ha.

Might as well add Maine to the list of states I've been asked to never return.
Is Elevation a novel or novella?Definitely another book (in November) but another book tour is still up for discussion. We'll have to wait and see.
I don't have the word count handy but it's listed at 144 pages on Amazon's description. As a comparison, my copy of Carrie has 177 pages. Is Elevation a novel or novella?
Gwendy was 180 pages and it was called a novella so I will go with novella.I don't have the word count handy but it's listed at 144 pages on Amazon's description. As a comparison, my copy of Carrie has 177 pages.
I guess, technically, it's not ghost writing since his name is on the cover but he contributes very little. To his credit, he has helped many struggling writers and made them very wealthy.I hear what you're saying but I have never seen King's writing suffer because of his booming productivity. Patterson? I can't say that about him, plus he ghost writes with everybody and their momma's uncle.
But has the material been edited and proofread correctly? hint-hint-wink-winkToo early to say. He has material ready for publication but what/when that happens hasn't been finalized.
...c’mon man...she shot yer azz down and now yer just being pitiful....But has the material been edited and proofread correctly? hint-hint-wink-wink

Did that Sleeping Beauties tour become tiresome near the end? Sorry to hear that fans can be such A-holesWhile it is an out-of-the-box idea and related to the Red Sox, I know exactly how he feels about doing any publicity appearances this year. Maybe next year he'll be more receptive.
A first edition of course, signed by the author ? (sigh) - I'm so jealousI don't have the word count handy but it's listed at 144 pages on Amazon's description. As a comparison, my copy of Carrie has 177 pages.
I'd say putting up with all of our BS is a perk.A first edition of course, signed by the author ? (sigh) - I'm so jealous
Hey - you put up with all of our BS - ya gotta get some perks!

And here we go again, I must agree to disagree.I'd say putting up with all of our BS is a perk.
I'm shocked! And here we go again, I must agree to disagree.
Oh - okay - sorry - forgot you're not a crazy fan who likes to collect books (like so many here do) - I think after a while it almost seems like an obsession. The book tours are always tiring and have become more so as time has gone on.
No signed first edition of Carrie as that was long before my time working here.
