Can anyone tell me the difference between my version of It, which is 912 pages long, and the versions i see on the internet which are well over 1100 pages long?. Should i buy a longer edition, is there anything missing in my version, or is it just the print size. 912 vs over 1100 is a big difference in pages. Any advice would be great, would just like the complete edition, if there is such a version. Thanks in advance.

I think it may be a Hard Back vs. Paperback issue. Do you have a hard back copy?

I don't have any more recent copies to compare, but the one I have in the office is, I believe, a first edition and the last numbered page is 1138 but there are several unnumbered pages with text beyond that unconnected to the story and in the copyright at the front of the book it is noted that "pages 1141-1142 constitute an extension of this copyright page." I think Scott (GNTLGNT) has the correct answer, i.e. that different editions vary due to formatting by the publisher. There should not be any edited/abridged copies available--at least not unless they've been pirated.
