I could always reenact this Smell , because i always worked in Paper Mills and we have 2 here in Osnabrueck,
one is just a Mile away.

Sometimes i tought "Uo oh, Stephen doesn`t like Paper Mills, because the Smell is always in the Air"
It is definitely a distinctive smell with a touch of sulphur. When the paper mill was active in Old Town, we always knew when there was a storm coming in when we could smell the mill even though we live a couple towns away. :smile2:

Out of Order's house lies in the same direction as Old Town...I feel somewhat vindicated........

There was a Worumbo Mill in Lisbon Falls, Maine (from that book 11/22/63)
It might have been a textile mill, not a paper mill
