I did a search of this forum but couldn't find a Peter Straub thread. If there is one, my apologies!

Anyway! I've had a number of Peter Straub books for a while but have only now gotten around to them. I'm reading Ghost Story and HOLY SH*T. I'm blown away.

Not sure what I'll read next...maybe Julia? Or If You Could See Me Now? I've been reading a lot of 60s/70s horror lately.
Ann-Veronica Moore....
Alma Mobley....
Angie Maule....
Anna Mostyn....
Eva Galli....
These names strike fear in my heart. Remember them, my friend. :O_O:

'What was the worst thing you've ever done? I won't tell you that, but I'll tell you the worst thing that ever happened to me . . . the most dreadful thing . . . '

One of the best openings to a novel EVER!

Darn it. When I saw you had quoted my post, I thought you were answering my If You Could See Me now question! :p

This is another of those authors I've put on the back burner for years. I think this month when I do my usual order of a few used books off Amazon I'm going to try and see If I can find "Ghost Story" and give it a read. I liked The Talisman & Black House but just never got around to looking into his solo work.
