Hope he can do a remake of Ghost Story! There's lots of older actors that could do that justice! I'd like to see Shadowland done also.
This is another of those authors I've put on the back burner for years. I think this month when I do my usual order of a few used books off Amazon I'm going to try and see If I can find "Ghost Story" and give it a read. I liked The Talisman & Black House but just never got around to looking into his solo work.

I enjoyed Ghost Story, it was made into a film with none other then Fred Astaire - his last role. must read and see the film AGAIN
Koko was a tough read and freaked me out!
My favorites of his in order are: Ghost Story, Floating Dragon, Shadowland and If You Could See Me Now.

Totally agree. I have not read all of his but ghost story is really great. The others were good but not great.

Mr. X, Koko, The Throat - they're all excellent choices. You can't go wrong with an addition of Straub to your collection.
Still reading Floating Dragon. Might end up being my favorite Straub novel
