They sneaked that one in without permission.
Seems like I'm always getting someone in trouble!

The Periscope link was posted in the Post Gazette article about the event (at least it was posted online). Full article here:Stephen King knocks 'em dead at Sewickley event | Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

At the event we were told we were allowed to take non-flash photos at the beginning AND during the Q&A session, and this video was during the Q&A session. No mention of rules regarding video was made, at least that I can recall.

At least you're not the one in trouble. ;-D
Marsha, I really wish you had come along with Steve at least to Pittsburgh, I'd love to see you in person some day. Besides, I have a nice swimming pool and hot tub at my new house and you could probably use a little break!
Me, too, although I would have liked to go to Albuquerque, too. ;-D I'd hoped to see you and your family in Colorado but not in the cards this year. Someday. :smile2:

Great write up-- it is so nice when a reporter/ interviewer "understands" Stephen King. Sounds like it was a fun night.

But what designer was he wearing??????

;;D

Well, in NJ he was wearing a nice button up and tucked in white dress shirt, and in PA he was back to his more normal self with a Plain t-shirt and jeans. But it wasn't the red one he seems so fond of. I think Tab said he has to wash it. lol.

....wellllllll, here's some thoughts on last night's Dayton appearance.....seats were great!...we were Center Stage only 15 rows back, which allowed for perfect perspective, and I got an aisle seat which allowed me to stretch the tree trunks a little bit....other positives: Angela(Notebook Girl)is a real sweetheart, and Tracy and I were tickled to death to meet her, and be near her during the talk....the venue is a beautiful old place and I also came away even more impressed with Steve than I already was....he is not only a genius with his writing, he also comes across so naturally....just as if we were sitting around a small table listening to him tale-spin, rather than pacing a stage in front of hundreds of people....what a genuinely nice man, and I don't pass that compliment around lightly....quibbles?.....yeah, I had a couple....first, as Angela already mentioned, the asshat in our row who couldn't shut up OR turn her damn phone to silent....other than her idiocy, you could have heard a pin drop as Steve spoke...the main gripe I had, was with the way the doors were handled.....the main theatre doors were opened promptly at 5:30 as promised, BUT-they had us wait in a cattle chute format until 6 before we could enter the auditorium doors....half an hour slammed up against one another....very poorly handled.......let's see, oh yeah!...they auctioned off a signed EOW poster for the library group in Dayton-and raised $4.400!!!!....plus, as Marsha figured-Uncle Steve let info slip on one of his upcoming releases, but I shall keep that to myself until it is official here on the Board....overall, Tracy and I had a great time-even though Dayton streets sucketh most highly....had to go round the block forever until we could locate how to park and get to the venue.....yep, yep-a good time was indeed had by all and I will leave you with some pics below, and maybe more to come after Tracy sends me the ones she took.....

In your mirror.
So I had an awesome time last night and finally had time to absorb a little about the Dayton show. It was cool seeing fellow message board member (see below photo). Stephen King was funny and told stories that related to Ohio, along with an interesting story about tire change and Bruce Springsteen. During the Q&A, my question as read (although he had already really answered it while talking!)
I guess the only silly thing at the event is that I was sitting next to someone who keep commenting every time Stephen King said something, not too quietly either! It wasn't too distracting, but enough, however, not enough to spoil my time. I was just happy to be there. I got a bonus of a signed book!

Very cool! Thank you. Ummm...what's on your t-shirt? It looks familiar but I can't place it.

EDIT:Never mind. I saw your tee clearly in GNTL photo. Very cool.
