I'm going with "Family Snapshot" by Peter Gabriel. A great song about the JFK assassination that captures Oswald's motivation, the act of violence as a modern media event that we still live with and finally the sad, lonely figure of Oswald himself.

I probably should have included the link. The Peter Gabriel song captures this event as well as any. A bit eerie given it's largely from the perspective of Oswald with the ending even making him appear to be a sad and pathetic figure despite all the harm he unleashed:

Life In a Northern Town...not just for the oblique reference to the Kennedy assassination but for overall mood and implications. Dallas isn't a northern town, I know. Second runner up: All Through the Night by Cyndi Lauper, "we have no past, we won't reach back, keep with me forward all through the night...until it ends, there is no end."
