It's mind boggling how SK created such a vivid and intense story in so few pages!

True. I wonder if this is one of his 'internal worlds'. I think his worlds are somewhat like dice rolls; but not the normal dice with six sides; More like a die with twenty different sides, the type they use to play dungeons and dragons. It is somewhat normal, but then a few things are tweaked. It's mind boggling how SK created such a vivid and intense story in so few pages!
That's what she said! It's Decided then. Next week It Grows On You
My absolute pleasure (as always!) and once again...thank YOU!You are not kidding Morgan. His prose draws me back each time I read other authors. I like his honest wording. I don't feel like he 'talks down' to me or tries to impress me with how smart he is, but makes me feel as if I am sitting on a float in a pool, or having a beer or glass of wine, and just chilling. Thank you for chatting tonight.
I miss you guys! Unfortunately, my schedule won't change any time soon. But I'm glad you post the discussion! I need to dig out my dad's hardcover NIGHTMARES it's in a box somewhere.Welcome to this weeks discussion
I know! I almost didn't read it. I hate stuff like that. That's why I didn't read The Green Mile back in the day either. I guess I'm just a scared little kid at heart. It took me a while also-I was too caught up in the horror of this guy habitually snatching kids!
That really "humanized" them, didn't it?
Next week It Grows On You...

We miss you too, Hon. I am glad you got the job and are able to make it work though. I started a new job on Monday too. Time seems tighter somehow, but I look forward to Friday evenings to connect. Dig out the book Chickie and read on ahead. 8)I miss you guys! Unfortunately, my schedule won't change any time soon. But I'm glad you post the discussion! @NoBounce No Play, ...What is not very good? Sweet Pea, all of our comments are subjective. No one really knows what is going on in Stephen Kings mind. It is interesting, not because we are 'picking it apart or shredding it' but because we are learning from his gift of storytelling. Please join us, we really do have fun.It Grows On You is one of my most favoritest stories! I'm not very good at book discussions though
