Why did I not buy the book? - Chapters or Indigo is a long drive from here and I have been ill for approximately two weeks but I am slowly getting better.
Sorry, forgot. Get well soon Neesy. It is just that you somehow seem to have more energy when you're ill than i have when I'm healthy. But the bright side is that you really have something to look forward too. I send you a get-well-hug from me.

Brian I don't know if I should post to The Other Side or not.
I agree with that other guy, the one who thinks Revival is a straight ahead horror novel, but you're a friend so I would rather agree with you about Revival being dark and enlightening even though I didn't find it so. I'll never meet or talk to that other guy lol. Tell me if you want me to post :)

I agree. While I thoroughly enjoyed Revival, it wasn't as scary as I anticipated it being. I think the primary reason for this was the quote I read, "Stephen King's darkest novel to date." Or something to that effect. Maybe I need to re-read it. It was scary. I thought Ackerman's Field was scarier than Rev Jacobs. :)

Every time I saw Mother mentioned I kept thinking of Mother Mary. And then imagining Baphomet.

I was off target too. When Mother was first mentioned, I imagined Mom from Futurama :)

Do you know what an Author Street Team is?

A street team is a group of fans that band together to support an artist, author, band, or other such products. Street teams are powerful marketing tools because they tap into an established group of fans and put them to work! Street teams also hone in on the word of mouth marketing by encouraging your fans to share their love of your work with others.

We are all basically street team people. We come here and we love Stephen's work. We encourage others to read Stephen's work. Aren't you always trying to get the people in your lives who don't understand your love of all things Stephen King to just try one of his books?

Prepareforrevival.com. Do you dare? Spread the news.

I have that much energy? Gee thanks! I thought I was slowing down with age :):cheerful:
I feel 100% better this year than I did last year, actually (in terms of wellness overall) and the dang cold seems to be finally gone :jammin:
