Here is Lily, our new addition to the family. She has stolen everyone's hearts already and all the other critters have accepted her, except for Miss Cookie. But even she is coming around, she is willing to be in the same room as the puppy this morning. ;)

Potty training is going pretty good so far. No messes today at all so far. I think she is going to be a great companion for us.

Playing with Spencer! They both were picking at that nice runner in my carpet.

All tuckered out. She pulled her toys next to her like that by herself!
Nice dog - will she be trained as a hunting dog as well? My friend has two labs that he takes duck hunting. Congratulations on the new addition to the family!

what the hell is "shed horn hunting?"

:question_pig:
Every year, deer, elk, etc shed their horns and grow new ones. So it is fun to just go hike and see how many you can find!

People buy them and use them in crafts or furniture and what not. Scott just likes to go find them. He never sells them. He wants to find enough to make a chandelier from. I'm not so keen on that decorating choice. But whatever I guess. :D

Okay, that makes perfect sense.

And yes! Lots of crafts with those things.

I found a nice pic online - some are quite elaborate and go for a lot of money!

Most of y'all know about what happened to my sweet Pearl in May. After going through that, I thought I would never have another dog.......but we visited the shelter over the weekend, and fell in love with this sweet little guy. Say hello to Snoopy
