Hey everybody! I was watching a Stephen King interview from german tv on youtube recently. The interview is not very current, it's from 2013. The talk show host (markus lanz) quoted a sentence from a - by that time - recent book by King, which was not called by it's right name unfortunately  He also quoted a german translation, so I don't know the exact wording, but I'll try to paraphrase it for you back in english: "I can't scare you, when you are all together - but later on I'll take every single one of you to task!". I loved that one! I hope one of you King-experts can help me to find the book, the place and the wording of this particular quote in that book. Thanks a lot!!

This isn't a Quote from a Book, he said this during a reading in Hamburg.
He said, to the audience:
"You are far too many, i can't scare you, but later one by one....
Thank you! That's what I thought but was being too lazy to look it up as I didn't remember that from the book--or the context of it in the interview even though I was there at the time. :wink2:

How did they do this? I was watching the whole thing and it almost looks like Stephen King can understand German - does he have some sort of translator thing hidden in his ear?

Probably. I can't remember specifically about that interview but do know they did that at several of the interviews. The translator in Paris was amazing to watch as he was practically in real time with the translation.

I was almost near the end of the video when our power went out

Seems there is a big power shortage in our area currently ( at first I thought I blew a circuit breaker with my new heater)

So now I’m trying to use my iPad... maybe I’ll just give up and read that book I started - “The Other Wife” and just hope it gets better
There’s enough light coming in the windows plus I have several candles burning
