Aww this one hurts! I remember watching her on MTM show as a preteen,she was so pretty..and then later,she did such a great job as the mother who represses her feelings in Ordinary People..she was so good in that role..God Bless her,RIP dear lady..

Actually got choked up when I heard the news she had died. This one hurts, much like Mr. Williams did. Inviting Mary and friends into our home each week somehow made our home more special. Crazy isn't it?

The Dick Van Dyke show is a brilliant show and although MTM was probably the least seasoned actor on the show, she held her own with many greats and made the character of Laura Petrie her own. I love this show.
