:rofl::rofl:
Have to admit DiO'Bolic even I knew that and I know very little about music. Except what I like in music.
LOL. In my warped mind those groups are ‘new’ because they were the end of Rock ‘N’ Roll. Rock 'N' Roll is now dead. Just look at the Billboard Hot 100 for proof.

Long live rock and roll
The beat of the drums, loud and bold
The feeling is there, body and soul

Sadly… R.I.P… Both Chuck Berry & Rock 'N' Roll.

I used to mix those two up (when I was up in Alert and they had a call in radio show) - it got a good laugh at the time.

Yes DiO'Bolic I see your point, even agree. One of my daughters said the other day that they had heard a few songs in a Bar of a 'NEW' group. You should listen to them Mom they are very good, call themselves Deep Purple. I looked at her, didn't say anything. She said 'yours Mom?' I said yup, she said damn!!

Ahhhhh… Deep Purple… Smoke On The Water, Space Truckin’, Highway Star, Hush, and my favorite Woman From Tokyo.

Rock ‘ain’t dead. You just have to know where to look. Rock was never about top 40.

Sure, “country” and pop dominate the charts but there are plenty of good rock bands out there.

Royal Blood is a great example.
