I'm not sure why you're quoting my post for a reply, but okay. :smile2:

I lost count the number of times I was forced to rewatch that one, that and Angels in the In-Zone (not even Angels in the Outfield with Chris LLoyd, Angels in the freaking In-Zone!"
Pandora-Gilboa schools always had a movie on the last day of school before summer vacation. Usually the movie was beige strained baby food, but on the last day of seventh grade, they aired Bless the Beasts and the Children.

We have no idea who thought this would be an appropriate film for that day and age (1972), but my guess is they judged the film by its title and never looked further. The swears alone should have gotten it banned. Bless the Beasts and the Children fueled me and my friends' merry slide into minor juvenile delinquency, which (as the movie illustrates) is so much better than our alternative.

I got so fed up with some of the movies I had to endure that one day while the teacher was out of the room I put in Freddy's Dead.

Random thought for today - thank God they are playing classical music for me while I am on hold with CAA - just getting ready for my big trip from here to Toronto - will be seeing my sister Marie - I hope she recognizes me!

Haven't been home to visit since 2006! (Spent Christmas there and rang in the New Year of 2007 with her).

So here it is 12:30 already and I have not started my recipe - got one from work for a Creamy Baked Pasta Primavera

It uses zucchini, red and yellow peppers, plum tomatoes, red onion, garlic and a can of tomatoes and penne pasta with mozzarella.

Recipe called for plain yogurt but I don't have any so I am going to put some cottage cheese in my blender instead. I think I'll line the pan with foil wrap so clean up will be easier!

I wish I could find a picture similar to what it will end up looking like. Here is one sort of similar:

Kind of like this but without any chicken :chicken:
