Well, Motley charged a lot on the final tour because it was "The Final Tour". Then again, those same people are probably going to the new tour. Hopefully Vince gets his voice back.
I saw them twice on the final tour, once at the beginning, and again at the end. Vince had improved quite a bit in a year's time..

I'll be the first to say that I was severely disappointed to hear that they had gone back on their agreement and decided tour again. I even said, Sixx will never agree to it. I had to eat those words, because Sixx has made himself a whore. I also don't want to hear the Crue pointing fingers at Gene Simmons for having 25 final Kiss tours. To me, they're now in the same money grab mentality.

Having said all that, given the opportunity, I would definitely see Motley Crue again. Especially with the lineup they'll be touring with.

Did you go to a Black Sabbath show back in the day, Dio? I vaguely remember you saying something about that. If so, did it beat Bruce? :)
I saw Black Sabbath at Live Aid in 1985 and Bruce in early 1974 (or late 1973). Hard to say which was better. I grew up listening to Black Sabbath so seeing them perform and hearing them play Paranoid, Iron Man, and Children Of The Grave ticked off something on my bucket list. I had barely heard of Bruce when I went to see him. It was right after Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ (1973) and The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle were released (1973) and he was getting very little air time. It was one of his last small venue concerts, played to about 350 people, before they went big. He had long hair and a beard, wore a bennie cap and flannel shirt, and did the concert singing and playing guitar while sitting on a sofa placed on the stage. I must admit I was awstruck at the big black guy in a bright red suit playing a sax like I’ve never heard played before. One thing was apparent after Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street band played was that I had witnessed something very special and probably history in the making.

Tony Iommi's got to be the most underrated guitarist of all time, quality player. I liked Bruce whole blue collar shtick, but he still tries to act that way which I think is just damn weird. Man, Black Sabbath on the 13 tour was the best show I've ever been to, I think I was like 12 or something, I still remember Ozzy shouting at me; get your hands in the f** air. :) Brilliant.

I take it that the Oscars page is done? :) Hahahahha In all honesty though, does anyone else notice the amount of traction the board gets when Steve says something sort of controversial? God I love him.
Yes, it's gone because some people...ahem....couldn't keep it from becoming a Hot Topics thread which we don't do anymore. It only became controversial because people didn't grasp what he was saying and wanted to make it controversial. And that's the end of the discussion about that particular topic. Any other posts will be deleted.
