I had one too! Got to the point it hurt my back to sleep on it though. I kept the frame and headboard for the longest time after I got rid of the water mattress. Just put the box spring and mattress right in it. I had a very tall bed for a while! :D
Same problem here. Back issues. And then I did the same, continued to use the furniture with traditional mattress.

LOL. NO. The newest version gives women a money advantage... Extra $400 to start and an extra $40 more for passing GO then men get... Ms. Monopoly. The women in the family usually beat me at the game without an advantage. I suck at rolling dice. :)
You could always give one of the women in the family five bucks and get them to roll the dice for you?

How many of you had a waterbed at some point in your life? I had one. I liked it but like the article states, it could be a major pain in the butt when you had to move it. Plus putting sheets on them was almost a workout. :)

Who even thought waterbeds were a good idea, like “Gee, I sure wish I could sleep on an inflatable water tank”

“A form of waterbed was invented in 1833 by the Scottish physician Neil Arnott. Dr. Arnott's Hydrostatic Bed was devised to prevent bedsores in invalids, and comprised a bath of water with a covering of rubber-impregnated canvas, on which lighter bedding was placed.”

I sometimes like to see cast information on movies I watch. My cable provider provides cast information but anyone born in the 1800’s is given a birthday of January 31, 1969 (I think that is the day, but it’s always 1969). I watched Frankenstein (1931) and Bride of Frankenstein (1935) last night and just about cast member had their birth dates listed as 1969. I wonder why they do that.
